True to her name, Blackgold took a first in the NJ Alpaca Show and Sale, in April 2011. The judge commented on her being “the total package, conformational correct and a very bright fleece with a buttery feel and good consistency.” BG”S sire Blissful Knight is a 5 time dark brown color champion, with an amazing presence, a high frequency crimp with brightness and a soft handle, all of which he has clearly passed on! BG is a delightful animal, easy to handle and very good natured. BG is a non breeding female, but would make a very suitable companion animal to add to a small group. She continues to have a consistent fleece and is a lovely fiber animal.
