We would like to thank everyone who visited, walked and shared their enthusiasm with us so far this year. We will be closed for visits and walks for July and August (it is too hot and buggy) and we expect to reopen for visits in mid-September. Feel free to reach out by email if you would like to schedule a visit or an event for the fall or inquire about alpaca sales or product sales.

Look for us on Saturdays attending one of the following farm markets: Thornton Farmer’s Market, Swarthmore Farmer’s Market, Bryn Mawr Farmer’s Market, and Rittenhouse Square Farmer’s Market. Additionally, we are also attending the Newtown Square Market twice a month on Fridays. Each market has their own Facebook page.

Alpaca Woodland Walks
Alpaca walks are on Thursdays and Fridays at 3:00PM, as long as the weather holds. The walks will be discontinued for the summer months from June 15th until September 15th, as it is too hot for the alpacas.
We offer small groups an opportunity to interact with alpacas on a very personal level. We have a group of four seasoned girls who are well behaved and walk on a lead line with each visitor, (as long as it is not too hot and there is plenty of grain)! Alpacas are gentle, stoic creatures and are quite trainable, but do require patience and understanding as they can be frightened of new experiences.
We will walk as a group outside the pasture up the hill and through the woods for a quiet walk of about 25 minutes. We will stop from time to time to pet and reassure the alpacas and reward them with a snack. After the return trip, visitors will have an opportunity to visit with all of the alpacas and take pictures and share a bit more grain.
Visitor requirements: While we welcome all people and all ages to visit the farm during our scheduled tours, the alpaca walks have certain restrictions. This is not an event for small children or anyone with a fear of animals. Additionally, visitors will need to be able to walk uphill for a half hour through woods and fields, while holding onto their alpaca, and giving the alpaca gentle encouragement. It is our goal that this will be a safe, unique, and fun learning experience for our visitors. Group size is a minimum of two and a maximum of four people. Age requirements are a minimum of 15 years old. The fee is $30.00 per person.
If you are interested in an alpaca walk, please email us the number of people in your party and we will let you know our next available dates.

Alpaca Farm Visit
We welcome visitors of all ages to visit our small herd of 11 alpacas where you can learn about alpaca life and the fabulous fleece they grow! The alpacas are always happy to share their space and receive an extra handful of grain! They are well behaved with visitors, provided everyone sticks to a few rules. Although, alpacas look cuddly, they are not particularly fond of petting but will tolerate touching to some degree. Despite their lack of interest in petting, they are quite entertaining, fun to feed and of course to photograph.
We are available for visits by appointment only. Visits are 45 – 60 minutes and are limited to once per day: 10:00 AM on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. We are closed Saturdays as we are attending farmer’s markets.
When you visit, please keep in mind that this is a working farm and visitors should dress accordingly. In the winter, plan on sturdy boots for mud and sometimes ice. In the summer, please do not wear flip flops or pretty summer sandals, and be prepared for bugs and bees.
If you are interested in visiting, please email us with the number of people in your group and which of the three days is best. We will let you know the next available openings. Unfortunately, same day or same week appointments are not available.
